Just got this at auction tonight --

Anyone have any idea whether clips add value? Need to send off for grading -- hoping for at least MS60, though maybe a chance for MS62.

Just wondering if the minor dbl clip would add

Already have more 32-s than I need... but this was going pretty cheap so I grabbed it.

My eyes are tired... is it a bit off center too? Is that typical with planchet errors?

I hate to break it to you but unless that's your image I don't think those are clips. Looks like the image was cut off on the top and side since there's no Blakesley effect.

Looks like the image is clipped, not the coin.

Sorry.

Ahh shucks -- I was reading about the Blakesley effect before I bid.. but I was tired. I thought it was discerned from the side.

oh well, hope she grades decent... only really want 1-2 of these... think this is my 5th. For some reason 32-s seem to come up at auction a lot more than 36-s -- which I still need.

Thanks

Well at least it looks like a really nice 32 and it's a bit of a MisAligned Die (MAD) but not enough to add any value
