It's not a match to either of the two 1929-D RPMs, but it is definitely a RPM.

I would send this one out for authentication. I think Wexler is the best option right now (I'm not sure if CONECA's new system is up and running yet.)

Super cool find, great condition too, looks cleaned?

This looks similar to the 1927 d/d/d pattern, the serif strike to the north and a mushy strike to the south.

Keep us apprised if you send it out!

Unfortunately, with how worn down the higher details are, there is no way this is BU. Very likely cleaned.

But do let us know what happens if you decide to send this one out for authentication. This would be a good find regardless of condition if it turns out to be a new RPM.

Wexler has a new attributer for RPMs, so it should go to Dan Griffin.

Cool find, definitely worth sending in for attribution! But I'd have to agree, surfaces definitely look altered/cleaned. AU Details, but a cool RPM

I'd say VF-34/EF-40 and likely cleaned.
