I found this coin as is, just wondering what you guys think about it?

I don't know if its post mint damage or if someone else tampered with it before.

Couldn't find any resources on this.

It looks like vending machine damage, maybe a Gumball Machine. The base of the 2 is sheared off parallel to the rim.

Yes, it would look that way--victim of an old school vending machine. We see a few of these every month.
