Outstanding...another album for which I need to break out the shades! Nice upgrades. Quote: I also added a new one: the 1971-D "Friendly Eagle" So I had to look up "Friendly Eagle" to realize that now I'm missing a variety...thanks... One small thing... you might want to redo your "Friendly" label.

I was also unhappy with the labels looked on page 4 (all crocked and uneven), so I fixed that too: The new labels are still a tiny bit slanted, but with invisible label tape it is hard to align it well

I see that Dearborn included a couple of commemorative dollars in his set. What do the people on this forum think? Should a "complete" Eisenhower set include the 2015 small, "golden" Eisenhower dollars as well? Of course, it's Dearborn's set and he can do whatever he wants.

So the small dollar does not belong with the Large dollars. 2015 P/D/S Proof Eisenhower 'Golden' Dollars From my Complete Dansco Presidential dollar Albums

My PCGS graded set includes the 1990, 2013, and 2015 Ikes.

I like that the CAPS Album includes spots for these 2015 Ikes, one of the reason I chose CAPS at the time. Granted, I would do things differently now. I have found CAPS Albums a pain to store. They are too big. I am really considering moving to an 8176.

A slabbed Ike set should be easier to store, if you are worried about damaging the coins and want to protect them in plastic, About twenty slabs should easily fit in a slab box and doesn't take up much space.

It is very easy to store. I have a Lighthouse box that holds 50 slabs, which is more than enough space for my graded set and a couple of fun extras... http://goccf.com/t/279370#2371279http://goccf.com/t/312202#2651935CelticKnot uses the same box... http://goccf.com/t/354375

Quote: CelticKnot uses the same box... Yep and I really like it. Slabs are securely stored yet easy to pop out to view. Might work on some sort of labeling such that it's easier to tell what's what from the top. Kind of like a Whitman Sampler guide.

I agree, a slabbed Ike set would take up less space than a CAPS album. I have multiple Intercept shield 20 slab boxes to store my Morgan collection, works great and fits in my safe nicely. I am not wanting to get a slabbed Ike set, at least for right now. The Dansco albums are much smaller and would take up a lot less space for my raw Ikes compared to the CAPS.
