1964-D Nickel - Strange Chin/Neck Area

I have a few rolls of nickels that I just started going through.

A few into the roll (BTW they are all 1964D)this grabbed my attention.

Can't figure out if it just severe Die Deterioration or possible lamination peel. I am used to seeing this Die Deterioration on the flat of the coin but this is in the design as well. I was also thinking a struck through, but highly unlikely since I have at least 4 of them now.

All opinions welcome.

that's called orange peel, it's quite common from late-stage, worn nickel dies
