On the earlier die states, there were some look at that and you'd know it was a die '3':
So if you see these die scratches on the 003 like this, it is a no brainer.
But the SBS if the dates is always the convincer.
The 003 looks like it is making a muscle. But oo8 is really ripped. That how to tell these two dies apart. I'm glad I was able to help you find your DDO. Now you know more. What was the first clue? The '9' on the date:
