I can't PM anyone and I searched and I can't find the thread. I'm impressed with the nice photos and close-ups. But for the general and this repeats every day... full size images, cropped to the coin, front and back. That's easy, is there a thread here "How to make better images, that aren't reflecting so much?" or how to light images so the details show accurately?
I see some sites that say 80 degrees, Other have 10 degrees. Lighting can be overhead, sides, reflected, soft, indirect... maybe I missed it and maybe there are too many answers, but since this is the place and where coin photos are in most messages, what introductory guide is recommended?
I'm finding I can do OK with old coins, cents, gold dollars and those, but my dimes and nickels are a disaster.
Maybe the regulars here can give some tips and advise on where to start?
Sorry, I found it: Not a thread on how to make better photos a whole section.
