Hey hey diggers!
Another successful mission to the frost free farm fields for some fresh from the dirt finds.

Picked on a couple of fields in an older area that was brimming with potential. The older colonial sites were now detectable now that the snow is all gone and the grass and stubble are not much of an issue this time of year. Lots of targets but sadly time and fertilizer have taken their toll on the coppers and the fishscale appears to be the sad survivor of a tragic fire.

A return trip next year after the plough will tell me what was missed and I'm sure there will be more to find there.

These are the picks from the latest adventure...1799 Great Britain half penny, George V silver five cents Canada 1911-21, 1815 Halifax token NS27A1, another NS NS10B1 holed, and NS24A1 1820, and finally a maverick counterstamp halfpenny token with what appears to be BP.

All in all a pretty good group! I'll be be hitting the fields again soon in search of the next old copper in the bottom of a hole!
