Philadelphia never struck any 40% silver coins. All of the 40% silver circulation halves were struck in Denver or San Francisco. Philadelphia never struck any. The only other 40% silver coins produced, (Bicentennials or 40% silver Ikes) were all struck in San Francisco. So Philly never had any 40% silver strip or planchets. Report this Post to the Staff
