I was going through yet another box of my dad's stuff and found a box of 2X2's. I thought they were all empty until the box dumped out and a bunch of them have stuff in them. Most of them are fairly routine, a couple indian heads and bunch of pennies he has marked as errors and this.

So I immediately went to The Google to look this up. I see that they had a few different years when they did this and it isn't worth more than a few dollars. All the pictures I saw did not say "Kennedy" next to the profile of JFK.. Does this make it more unique?

Just a silly counter-stamp, no premium here.

Classic counter-stamp, complete with finger print. There are counter-stamp collectors out there, and some might be willing to pay upwards of a couple $ for one in great shape.

I remember seeing these sold with mass-marketed "Lincoln and Kennedy coincidences" cards that were common in various forms back in the'60's.

There is a member here by the name of chafemasterj with an enormous collection of counterstamps, including, I'll bet, dozens of examples similar to yours. He'll be able to tell you all about them.

You can look at some of his collection in this post.

Edit: Oops, I see Dearborn already referred to this thread above. Sorry for the duplicate.
