So I found this penny looking through things today I'm just trying to figure out what's going on with it I believe it's the 1955 but I'm not for sure since whatever is happening with that Force number. Also once again what's going on with these gougings in the coin on both the reverse and obverse. Thanks Danny help as far as how this happened and what's going on with it.
I agree, just a 1955 with a bit of bad luck. How and why as to the damage? Who knows, but damage is just damage, regardless how created. Post mint damage ( PMD) for sure.
Even one hit would take a coin out damage. If you sent it in a coin with too much distraction, they would give a generic 'genuine' on the slab. No slab grade at all. (This happens on coins that were cleaned) But damage is not a premium for a coin, as a crumpled finder is not a plus when you trade in your car.
