On a Struck Through Grease the devices are flat looking and wider.: Not literal grease on the coin. The mint didn't do that. It happened later on in its life, before you received it. Oils from your skin can leave your finger prints etched on the surface of your coin, destroying any numismatic value your coin might have. Always lay your coins down flat to photograph them. If propping up your coin to show the edges, lay atop other coins, or purchase an inexpensive pair of cotton gloves from any where that sells hobby supplies. Just fyi. Report this Post to the Staff
