Well my wandering ASE after a world tour and a trip to Hawaii, finally showed up on my doorstep Earlier in this vert topic I posted a PCGS graded MS70 ASE the 1-2023 on a silver label you can see it on page 20 or just click this link: http://goccf.com/t/401393&whichpage=20#3848322I wanted to see if all labels were going to be exactly the same - everybody get the trophy kind of label - in this case '1 of 2023' instead of being numerically incremented from 1 to 2023 (which would have been far better - but what ever) So anyway I had this sliver label coin that was all alone, so I went and bought its partner - 1 of 2023 gold label. I had also opened a separate topic just for that silver label ASE - if interested here that one is: http://goccf.com/t/445886So here is this gold label ASE. I'll keep these 2 as a set now.

Dearborn, it's a real beauty, and well worth the wait! But sorry about the anguish you went through while it was on vacation.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Excellent ASE, Dearborn. Arriving late is better than not arriving at all. I have a few black labels but no silver or gold labels.

Quote: Why do LABELS Attract Collectors, Or is it the Other Way Around, Collectors are Attracted to Labels Don't know exactly, but to venture a guess - bragging rights on a collection?

Quote: Why do LABELS Attract Collectors When it comes to my ASEs I will buy a different label simply because I don't have one yet. If I have a First Day Issue I will still buy a First Strike because I don't have one. I hope that makes sense to your friend.

So, I got 3 of the final 4 Bullion ASE's I needed to 'complete my 7181 Dansco album, with the 4th hopefully coming in today - at that point I'll post up all 4. Maybe start a new topic for the album itself.
