Quote: So anyway I had this sliver label coin that was all alone, so I went and bought its partner - 1 of 2023 gold label. Very nice Yes I had mentioned also some other prior gold labels with pictures here http://goccf.com/t/445886&whichpage=3#3849217 which usually are tied to the year of release (1 of 2016, 1 of 2013 and 1 of 2023. I agree it would be nicer if they were individually serialized (2 of 2023 3 of 2023) since someone could have the #1 coin which would be more special perhaps than #1950 of 2023 but in any case if there is only say 2023 of them total its limited, and if there is ever more demand than the supply made and available currently for others to buy the price can go up greatly from that. Quote: Why do LABELS Attract Collectors Sometimes value as registry sets can sometimes push up values if they are needed for a set. Also they are limited variations, and so that can create demand. Some are signatures or made only at an event so can possibly be very limited in how many exist. PCGS eventually retires all Special Labels for example, adding a limited edition nature to those custom releases even if they are not like the gold label with a low set number made. Someone might like that they have an eagle that was minted in philadelphia in 2000 even though the coins are technically the same as other ases without the label. https://coinweek.com/a-new-modern-r...lver-eagles/ And of course some people even collect the holders with some having demand over the coins. For older video games I mentioned before that I collected variety labels sometimes, even going all the way back on the atari 2600 when I was a kid, yet in many cases the actual game inside was the same. And then some also collected hardware, box and even instruction manual variations as well! And these were never intended to be collected for value reasons but later the rarity plus demand for them made them higher values. https://atariage.com/system_labels.php So I dont see why coins should be any different except that all collections have to draw the line somewhere based on money, time, and goals.

Nice addition, Dearborn, it appears to have been worth the wait!

Thanks Hoki! I like it. But! Here are the FINAL 4!!! All NGC MS69 graded. I get graded ones at no higher than 69 (and no lower either) so I can feel good about cracking them out for my Dansco album. So, I'll post them up later after I all free them from their plastic prisons

Tomorrow, I'll do that - it's getting too dark to get good images now (and it is 2 albums - 7181 and 7182, they were initially made only for Bullion ASE's, but (me being me) I added additional paged so I could add all the uncirculated ASE's too
