Thanks SamCoin. I think I'm seeing both but I'm not that good at identifying doubled dies. The t in states and the e look doubled. Third picture looks like a split serriff on the A of America on the right leg. Of looks doubled also to me. Maybe its md

The doubling on the side of the memorial looks rounded and not shelf like. I may need to get better pics

On a doubled die, the devices would be enlarged, not reduced. While this is typical Machine Doubling, note the lower devices are not affected? So this was a bounce right after the strike that only affected on the building area the mid devices on that area. Thus the sub devices, like the 'FG" were not affected in that direction. But 'ERCA' is showing Machine Doubling is a different direction. So the machine was real loose on this strike. The 'AM' on America is also showing a different direction as well. So it was very loose on this strike.
