Picked this up last week on a calculated hunch. The sellers pictures were just horrible (I put them at the end), but I've made some pretty good buys on horrible picture auctions. Been burned a few times too.
Even through the blurry photos it looked original with perimeter toning, and that's how it ended up, and for $36 I figured I couldn't be hurt too bad even if I was wrong.
So tell me your opinions please. (the last two pictures were the sellers from his listing)
AU-55...but even so...$36 is a small gamble/chance I see you're following the "numismatic student" advanced buying procedures...lol I think you did good The "student" has become the teacher ; ) smat
typical average strike for this year. some luster peaking through here and there. obverse fields and devices are a bit scuffed but nothing super distracting or detracting. I'm with CCF on this one AU58
