I was just curious about the obverse of this coin considering the reverse is in such good shape.
On the edges in a few spots I can see metal that has been displaced so that's PMD but the rest of it doesn't seem to have that.
I don't have the trained eyes for that stuff so I'm just going to ask instead of guessing.

The reverse of the Cent must have been laying on a felt blanket as who knows what took its toll on the obverse. The obverse has suffered simple damage, maybe environmental damage. It is weird how the reverse could be so clean but the obverse is horrid. I have found many just like this before.

Looks like it was stepped on while it was in the parking lot. Most likely direct pressure against concrete to give it the appearance of a strike thru. The rim is a dead giveaway, this did not happen at the mint.

Just one mark would make it a cull coin. So it is a real cull now. "Looks like Tails won!"

Ok or should I say KO because PMD is the winner of this round LoL. Thanks everyone. I also found it slightly strange that only one side was affected that's why I had to ask.
