I have actually handled a standard poured 400 oz gold bar at the Perth Mint. Approximate dimensions from what I remember 130mm x 60mm x 80mm.

to the CCF!

Yep! A 400 Troy Oz. bar is the standard weight of a full gold bar. That's 33.3333 Troy Pounds. With gold at $1792.48 (current spot price) the value of a 400 oz. gold bar is $716,992.00

The total amount of gold discovered to date is about 244,000 metric tons. That would make a cube that's 91.86 feet on each side. That's not a lot when you think about the surface of the Earth!

They had a LGDB at the ANA show, oh, six or seven years back, in an acrylic box bolted to the table with a hole in it you could just fit your hand through and not the bar. so you could pick it up, but not take it for a spin.
