Wow, is it me or do those seem to not have much detail?

Nope. I'm done with our mint until they fix the problems rather than send out press releases, knowing and admitting they exists only to blame other things or people. So I buy from another mint who actually appreciates and listens to it's customer base. Better coinage as well.

Does that mean all of the 2021.5 coins have been minted for the year? I wonder if yours is actually normal, seeing as this "file photo" doesn't show much detail either: Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Quote: may I ask how you know that? You can tell as the high points are soft. Look at the breasts, her arm and the flag. The details just are soft. It's not a very detailed coin. I expected as they release more you'll either get more die wear or better coins. Honestly TBD. One of the reasons I'll get a Proof this year. So I can have a nice one.

Gotchya! It just seems to be the whole design is very "flat" BUT you have the actual coin in front of you! ;-) Incidentally, are these supposed to have any new security features? Lack of detail seems like a great way to ASSURE fakery!

There are several security features the only 1 I know of is the notch in the reeded edge. You can see it by the date.

Still holding out for 8/24 and the two coin reverse proof set I'm expecting Hunger Games with the last person standing has to pick a boat, motorcycle, bike and cross walks go get to the check out and get locked out and "invalid item in your cart" While ebay has 68000 out of a 70 k limit already slabbed and ready to ship.

https://catalog.usmint.gov/american...et-21XJ.htmlOh wow, I didn't even SEE that listed before? One thing I am learning is that the average person can really be in the dark as to upcoming releases unless they are constantly checking for updates... or perhaps subscribe to some magazines/blogs/etc. And I like most reverse proofs, too... Good thing these will probably be way out of my tiny price range!!!

We just got some of the T2 ASEs and AGEs in the shop this week, and we pre-ordered 20 of the T2 proof ASEs of which I'll be taking one. I plan to snag a 1/4oz T2 gold proof as well
