It's just a common 21, but I picked it up only a week ago at what I thought was a fair price today and am curious about how the forum sees it. Not sure what the orange stuff is on the reverse. I'll try soaking it in acetone and perhaps Verdi-Care if that doesn't work.

So grade and opinions appreciated?

MS62. There's a fair bit of scratch to that cheek and I don't think it makes 63. I think graders are being quite harsh from my experience now, and I've seen MS63 which are a lot cleaner than this.

I'm okay with a weak MS63 (tad bit better than a MS62+). In this topic, photo lighting makes all the difference on the obverse. Interesting orange crud.

I think the orange gunk, assuming it doesn't detail it, drops this coin to MS-62. Other than that, nice. Good luster.
