XF-40 or 40+. An XF grade in the US (older term) is the same as an EF up here... one grade lower than AU.

When you see that heavy die crack through the R of GRATIA, it indicates Haxby obverse 52. The only known reverse paired with obverse 52 is the J11 with a nice repunched 5 in the date. That reverse die is also shown in the 2011 Charlton on page 298.

EF-45 details. The odd color variation appears to be from an older cleaning.
