It's really thin, it's like a dime except copper.

With the rims almost gone, I would say acid damage.
This is almost the same as one we had earlier in the week.

I agree. Looks as if it look a soak in an acid bath, of course post mint. No premium, just perhaps a novity at this point.

Acid damage seems the most likely cause.
