1977 D Grease Error? Any Value To Them?

Hi I have a couple of these 1977 Ds and they have the same error on the back. I believe it's called a grease error. Are they valuable?

That is a common areas for weakness from the way the die was designed. It may also be a minor Greaser. Your coin if a Greaser is way to minor for a premium.

Agree with John1--not an uncommon occurrence on the reverse.

They are very common. There are two types:
1977-D-Grease-Error?-Any-Value-To-Them?
1977-D-Grease-Error?-Any-Value-To-Them?
Lack of enough metal to complete the strike.
Just not a premium for them.

The common stuff, it is always nice to have an example of to show to new collectors as to what is not a premium coin. Put them in a tube and more them "Rookie coins". When you get to light up a new collectors face, then you will know why I recommended to save them for just that purpose of 'Show and Tell'.
