I wasn't going to buy one of these, logged on at 12:32pm, saw that they were still available, I had no trouble putting one in my cart, so that's what I did, and bought one. Oct/Nov/Dec are going to be busy months for packages from the mint, and charges to the credit card, as Morgans and Peace dollars ship.

I'm kinda surprised they're going as fast as they are with that price tag.

I wonder if a lot of people forgot about them - or decided that they couldn't afford it

I added one to bag at 12:20pm (central time) and checked out no problem, used paypal too which is usually missing.

its now 1:40 after the release and its still available. This is a great way to get the ASE proof coins if you missed the original drops (wont have the OGP but you will have the coins). With the price hike and worse packaging, the only reason to get this is for the ASE's if you missed the proof drops. Just imagine if this included a Type 1 S Proof... That would have been crazy.

Page Source Data-available says 3,211. If they don't sell out today, maybe tomorrow they'll lift the 1 limit and be gone. It will be interesting to see what the total mintages will be for the ASE proof type 1, type 2.

I suspect the remaining 6.4% of stock will sell out within the next 20 hours before HHL lifts.

A (very small) part of me was hoping one of the ASEs would be unique to the set but most of me is happy that a) I'm not handing another $235 to the mint and b) that we don't have 9 distinct ASEs in 2021.

Quote: Imagine if it does and the mint's website had a typo... If it did, That would make the 2021S Type 1 Proof the 3rd rarest ASE known behind the 2019S ERP and the 1995W Proof.
