Quote: Imagine if it does and the mint's website had a typo... Quote:If it did, That would make the 2021S Type 1 Proof the 3rd rarest ASE known behind the 2019S ERP and the 1995W Proof. Quote: A (very small) part of me was hoping one of the ASEs would be unique to the set but most of me is happy that a) I'm not handing another $235 to the mint and b) that we don't have 9 distinct ASEs in 2021

Last year's version had same mintage and is now available on ebay at less than Mint's issue price. Why would this year's be any different after the initial hype wears off?

ebay sold listings show a few 2020 silver proof sets at auction selling for less than Mint price which was $201, some sold at mint price and more when you include shipping cost. But point taken, these sets likely won't appreciate much, have them to enjoy not an investment. This year's set may do better in the long run since it has both type 1, type 2 ASE, a special year with design change. Page source data available 605 remain, likely a sell out by end of day or tommorrow.

I got on around 12:30 to check on my other order statuses only to find it's not available. Checked the schedule and yup, saw this set on sale lol. Didn't get it though, there's no way I can justify spending that money when I can get all the constituent coins for a lot less. Anyway, only 550 left as of now haha.

Easy to justify cost for flippers who sell at profit while the hype is hot. Some have already sold on ebay for $280-$319.

I forgot about this one, but decided to take another look tonight. I missed out on the S Proof ASE due to the website being jacked up and the household limit being so high. That was actually the first ASE that I've ever missed. I added up the price of all the included coins from other sets and decided that this one is an ok price versus the previous years which were just overpriced. Even though I've never purchased a limited edition proof set, I decided to go ahead and get one to keep my ASE set complete. It was down to less than sixty sets when I placed my order. Edited to add: By the time I got done typing the above post, they were gone.

I 'had' to get this set - I already have every other one that was released from 2012 'til now.

Over priced but what the hay, I like the looks of the set so I bought. Buying the AGE UNC and then I'm done for this year.
