Today's acquisition is a very common coin in circulated but really hard to find in MS. Was able to find one and probably paid too much, but I was happy to get this one. Issuer: Portugal King Charles I (Carlos I) (1889-1908) Type: Standard circulation coins Year : 1900 Value: 100 Reis Currency: Real (decimalized, 1835-1910) Composition: Copper-nickel Weight: 4 g Diameter: 23 mm Thickness: 1.3 mm Shape: Round Orientation: Coin alignment Demonetized: 1 August 1929 References: KM 546 Mintage:16,000,000 This coin has so little value that you need 20 to equal 1 euro cent. The coin.

Thanks guys! I had to get another storage case as my set of slabbed coins went over the 20 coins the cases store. I guess I need to buy more coins.

Quote: I'm glad to see you managed to get this coin Helder (and no die cracks). Thanks Steve! I had 4 of these and all had die cracks and were worn. Once I saw one in good shape and sharply struck I had to pick it up. The Stars have A and V which are the designers initials. Those are hard to get in this coin.
