It's kind of funny, I've been slowing going through a bag with hundreds of 1937 P's looking for varieties. Got some change with a 1937 P cent too. It had a a bit of green paint on it which mostly came off with acetone. What would you know when I looked in the Q-scope?
You guessed it, its a DDR-004 with the die clash die marker. Glad to have it of course, but had to laugh.
Have you noticed that when someone find a doubled die, they know it. When they find Machine Doubling, that is when they ask if it is something. That is how convincing it is when you find the real deal. You know! And don't even question it.
Thanks everyone. It was actually my grandma who found the coin and sent it with some Indian head's she had found also. I'll have to see if I can match her found in change find with my 500 1937's from a wheat bag of 5000.
