This 2018 nickel appears to have the letters warped so to speak. Particularly on the O's and s's or at least that is most noticeable to my eyes. I'm just curious as to what could cause this sort of thing. Input would be much appreciated. Also I believe that the obverse is showing dye deterioration on the second half of the word Liberty. At least I think that's what it is I don't know if that matters or anything about what's going on with the reverse. Just thought I'd let you know but I'm sure you'll notice.

Looks like Wrapping Machine Damage on the reverse.

Now that is a new one on me. I will have to do a little bit more research on what that truly is. Thank you for the input I'm going to have to keep this one for my collection because like I said it's a new one on me.Unless you're referring to the damage done to being put in a coin roller because that's not what I was referring to I understand that's PMD. I'm asking about the shape every one of the O's and s's on the reverse not to mention the slight warping of the details of Monticello

Definitely Wrapping Machine Damage, but I'm not sure what you mean by "warping on the Os and Ss"... Regardless, it appears to be a normal coin. No sign of any doubling or anything out of the ordinary apart from the damage to the reverse.

I see what you are talking about and the term should be "distorted", warped led me to believe you were referring to the coins shape. Maybe nothing there, just damage or Grease Filled Die but get us some closeups of the areas you are talking about.
