I've been searching through a decent amount of old change pins and cans from past relatives so bare with me. This 1950 penny's date just didn't seem right. Do you think it's post mint or a die issue or neither. Thanks

It has taken a hit moving the metal over. PMD
Probably from a coin rolling/wrapping machine.
Have seen this numerous times on the forum.

Looks like damage from the machine that puts cents into wrappers.
Suffering from bust half fever.

More likely a vending nach9ne in my experience, but clearly metal was moved after the coin left the mint.

Blurry photos got worse with size (please preview next time). Post mint damage, probably from a Gumball Machine.
