Thanks loonie! I did PM all 4 to get in touch and post.
There was some darn close guesses.
The jar used held only 8 ounces of water.
I don't feel my experiment was conclusive. I still believe that a bucket of dimes would be worth more than a bucket of quarters.

It's time for this old goat to hit the hay.

I figured they would be too close to call by face value. Yes, some very close guesses. Up here, it's sort of a standard that any dollar face value has the same melt value, so I figured that would crossover to filling your jars.
