If I get to pick second, I'll take the 1950-D. Thanks again!

Fun contest TNG and congratulations to the winners. In a prior post I mentioned how I attempted to use the relative size of the straight on quarter to estimate the containers size, hence the volume. Obviously something in my methodology was amiss based on my guesses. But - I say the container is 2-1/8" in diameter and 4-1/8" tall. How did I do?

This was very interesting! Thanks for the contest and congrats to the winners. (I would have been all over that '39D if I had the choice!!! Hard to tell, but looks like rev of 38.)

I dug out this coin for CoinHunter4I think it is appropriate for a coin hunter. Anyone who has searched Jefferson nickel rolls to make a set from circulation knows just how impossible a 1950 D is to find in the wild. It is far easier to find a Gem BU and buy it than any circulated one this nice. So this is an attractive, hard to find coin, and has in my opinion a special value in scarcity and close numismatic value as well.

The '50-D is great since I don't have one in my collection yet.
