Hello everyone! As requested by our very own John, I will be doing a contest. While 3000 posts isn't very much, nor is it really worth a contest, I'd thought I'd do one anyway (plus John gets a good laugh, so everyone wins). The winner of the contest will receive $10 via PayPal. The contest will be a guessing game, to figure out how much silver I have in $ format. The silver price will be taken TODAY, from the CCF Precious Metals and Bullion, meaning you can base your guesses off of this value: $24.06 per ounceYour only hint will be a photo of my silver stash. While it may not look like a lot, it's a start for decades down the road.  Each person will get two guesses. So for instance, this is what an answer would look like: $150.32 $234.90 Closest one to the answer wins, and you can go over, this isn't The Price is Right. People will have two weeks to enter there answers. On November 11th, 12 PM EST I will announce the winner. Good luck to everyone! |

Great contest! It looks like you have a lot! My only non collectible silver stash is composed of 2 silver dollars, 6 ASE and 3 rolls of silver dimes. My guess are: $381.24 $427.65 (Updated: Jason and I were within a few cents of each other without me looking at his answer) Good luck to all and thanks again for the great contest! Ah thank you John, yes I should've added that in the rules.
If you do not have 50 or more posts, then I'd suggest refraining from entering till you reach such a marker. Those that have already entered and have not yet met such a marker, your guesses will still count. Well, I guess it's only one individual that has entered that doesn't have above 50 posts.
SoundBeing, if you do win, we'll sort it out when we come to it.
