A recent cherry pick of mine. It's a poor sample maybe G4, but based on the NGC photo it seems to match the characteristics.

I think you might be right @jad. At first I thought that the mint mark was too far from the letter C, but it looks like part of the mint mark isn't all shiny and worn flat and that part is the correct distance away.

Yea I suspect if it was in better condition it would have attracted additional in bidding. I got it for $8.50 with other coins of the same date/mint going for the same price without the error. Happy to add it to the collection. I'm trying to complete a full RPM vertical.

Is the bend in the "C" only on the RPM? That clearly matches. I haven't learned as much about the buffalo's except 2F's. So it's still unfamiliar territory for me. But one reason was to start learning about varieties like this. Looking forward to finding out the result.

Looks good to me. That "notch" in the C of CENTS is a diagnostic.
