Not quite sure what I have here, but I found about 6 or 7 of these disks/coins/medals? in a book I bought several years ago. Several months later, I was going thru some of the books, and these were in between some of the pages?

I'm really clueless as to what they are? I asked a lady at the Chinese restaurant we go to, she said not her language. I thought with the dragon and snake, they may have been Chinese? I asked a priest at the Church up the street, he said definitely not Latin or Hebrew? I've taken them to a coin store, pawn shop, nothing?

Can anyone identify what these could possibly be and mean? I tried to find an appropriate forum, and stumbled on this? Any info would be great! Thanks!

The script on the one with the book is Arabic, but I suspect the language is Malay, or another southeast Asian language. I think I can see some other Arabic lettering ont he others.

The pieces look similar to some "religious amulets" from South-east Asia.

I have a suspicion that the script may be nonsensical and the pieces are ornamental objects.
