Big-byte Valued Member United States 122 Posts	Posted 03/13/2009 2:25 pm I believe that the reason that these coins are selling so high on ebay may be that these first ones are first-strike and expected to be better quality than the later ones. The one I have is really beautiful. Seems to be flawless. It would probably grade out very high. These coins are closing out at between $1550 and $1800, mostly in the lower part of this range. A nice coin that could bring down a high grade if submitted. But if they open it and find a problem (like treasurehunter did), then too bad...they cannot return it to the mint.
