Checking one more off the list. Snagged this one raw, unattributed. Surfaces look much better in hand, my photo skills must be off.
8 more to go.

Cherry pick or attributed? I spent a couple hours a few weeks back looking for this date, no luck. Pays to have a quick trigger finger for sure! Brett nice find and in great condition.

Cherrypick. Seller had it priced high though, accepted my offer of $60, which would still be high if it wasn't a 2F. Actually just picked an XF 28-S 2F from them last night as well. Will be an upgrade to the one I currently have.

Right! I usually put in about an hour at night. Sometimes more, some less.

Ty2020b very nice pickup on 1913 T1 2F and saw the nice 28-S. It is nice when they make clear in the listing that you will get the coin pictured like the one you got and other on the way. I thought I had an XF 28-S 2F a few months back but turned out to be a stock photo, but that detail was missing from the listing.

Very nice pick TY. I have my monthly coin allowance from the spouse again, so I can start looking. LOL.

Adding a die marker reference sheet I made for anyones interest. Going to do a series of these for the buffalonickelclub forum and will post here as I go. Some info provided by the late Ron Pope via his publications, along with additional die markers I've added.

Nice find, and thanks for the reference sheet - that's very helpful.

@jadenusa, I saw it but passed on it at that price. The 2F in the lot looked a bit questionable in regards to condition, maybe some ED? May look better in hand. One of the other coins had some obverse scratches as well. Wasn't a bad deal whoever snagged it. I have 3 for this date and already filled my "picked off ebay" spot , figured I'd leave it for someone else to grab!

Did you snag it?

Here's a line to the ended auction for those that are curious. https://www.ebay.com/itm/LOT-OF-3-1...384700749846 All die markers are present, a couple a bit difficult to see from the pics.

Yea I snagged it... I sell partial collection books, so I'll be able to recoup my $$ on the other two pretty easily. I'm hoping it'll clean up with some acetone, verdi-care (if I can track some down). I didn't have a TY1-D 2F yet, so figured I'd catch-as-catch-can and upgrade later if something pops up.

Nice! Glad it was you that snagged it.

If acetone doesn't do the trick try xylene. It tends to pull a bit more off than acetone IMO. Post some in hand pics when you get it!

Nice pick Jaden. It wasn't me bidding against you. I do have two potential 2F's coming in the mail soon hopefully. So have to wait for top up the search funds again. If you sell on ebay and haven't put up your info on CCF members on ebay, you should do that.
