I hit the 'jackpot' with 2022 coins yesterday at my local Lowe's. My change was .43 and I got a 2022-P quarter, dime and nickel. The pennies were all 2021-D which is also odd as I live in the east. I did get a 2022 penny abt 2 weeks ago so this marks the earliest by far that I have gotten all 4 common denoms out of circulation. usually it doesn't happen until June/July. The nickel was the only coin I still had not gotten.

Man that's some luck right there! All I can say I've found is a 2022-P dime, really hoping to see the new quarters soon.

Received a 2022P Jefferson today. So, everything is in hand except the Lincoln. That's what we normally see first around bere.

  Crossed the border into Oklahoma this morning and hit the casino at Willis (near Madill). The ticket machine/ATM was spitting out new 22-D cents, nickels and quarters. These are the 1st 22 nickels I've received from circulation. A big surprise was the 1941 Lincoln Cent being spit out in the coin tray, too! I'm guessing somebody up in Oklahoma dumped their collection. (Or somebody dumped it for them!). Pretty good shape for 81 years old! |

I'll put the 41 in it's own thread with better pictures. It was the best thing I got out of the casino —— other than a real nice fried catfish dinner!

I probably should be making a list of coins from the new year found. Kinda just to see how over the years coins are released at different dates. I've already got March 25 as the date for the quarters.
