What Error Is On This 1969 S Lincoln Cent?

JuRock New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 01/16/2022 9:19 pm Hi everyone! I have a 1969s Lincoln Cent and need some valuable input. I believe it's Doubled on the obverse and the reverse in the lettering and looks like with a double ear. And there is a circle on Lincolns face next ti his eye that looks to have a flower and maybe a "7" and a "B" in it. I just cant figure it out. Does anyone know what this could be? Thanks in advance! One coin per thread with one full coin photo of the obverse and one full coin photo of the reverse as well as one or two close ups where and when needed. If we need more photos we will ask. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 01/17/2022 11:58 am Note the Liberty and the Motto devices. On your coin, the affected edge is Machine Doubling. On a doubled die, the devices are enlarged in the centers of the devices, not on the outside/inside edges of the devices. MD was very common on the 1968-1972 cents. That is what you are seeing on your coin. Note the spread on the DDO's devices. Report this Post to the Staff
