1935 DDR. Strong doubling on FIVE CENTS and easy to see. The 2nd best next to the 1916 and hard to find with a full horn.

Nice one! I've never found one personally, I ended up buying a slabbed one in VF30. Did you buy or find in a larger lot?

Very nice! One of my favorites. Common to find in Fine, but very difficult in XF and above. A nice XF-AU example is on my list.

What's this one graded? XF40?

Graded XF40. I have found many back in the late 90's, most in Fine or lower condition. I pulled a beautiful AU from a full roll of high grade 1935's and wish I never sold it. The most recent was last year. A VG from ebay that the seller didn't know it was the DDR

Wow, finding an AU would be something! I've picked a couple, but nothing over low VF.
