It is a class 6 DDO. What attribution number do you think it is?

Definitely a class VI DDO, look more closely at the extra thickness on the stem of the 9, rockdude. Need better pictures to match it to a listing, but looks like it could be DDO-001.

I agree, definitely a class VI DDO. Also be good to have a close up of the BER in liberty and the WE in the motto. Nice find.

Definitely not worth grading with that level of corrosion. Just save it in a 2x2 flip and label it "1943 FS-101/DDO-001" Excellent find though, regardless of condition!

As for value, I don't buy and sell a lot, but I would say more than $10 and less than $100 (i.e. you won't get your money back from grading it).

The example on the page is not the DDO-001 (Mistake?)

No value on this one?

I always add these to show the shot in the dark this would be to submit it as the prices drop a lot from grade to grade progressively lower.

@Coop it's unbelievable to me how often PCGS gives coins the wrong designation like that. Looks like that's DDO-011, which is a nice doubled die, but easy to distinguish from the much more dramatic 001 with the coin in hand.

I've seen wrong denominations before graded and posted on their site.
