Somewhere between F and VF.

Is the streak running vertically to the right of the eagle's right wing a scratch or just discoloration of some sort? Can see a faint one also to the left of the left wing, too. I hope they aren't staple scratches.

Still a nice coin with honest circulation that fortunately has not been cleaned! Hope it gets to stay that way!

@westernsky
In person it appears to be a discoloration rather than a scratch

No way this is a VF20 coin. You cannot see all the feathers in the left wing. F15 tops. Most likely F12.

I think the coin makes VF-20. Panzaldi is right -- the reverse is better (I think it makes VF25) than the obverse (which is a wee bit better than F15).

Here's the F15 example from Photograde:

The light vertical stripe on the reverse doesn't concern me, but I would want to take a pretty close look at the rim.

First impression was F-15 but VF-20 certainly possible. It's somewhere between those two grades.
