I have a coin from my late gram that needed a new protective sleeve, so I put it under the microscope and think I found other "errors", doubling on both sides and also a die line from the mint mark to edge.
Id love feedback. thanks!!

Here are some clearer pics of the obverse. I just realized they were blurry.

Unsure of what you're seeing. Giant pic overload. Please be more specific.

Geez I cant win. its either not enough pics, not the right angle and now its too many.I give up.

As I said, doubling and a die line/crack from mint mark to edge.

It seems that I always get a negative first couple of replies when I post. This is new to me and ive been enjoying learning more everyday, but think I should find a group I annoy less with everything I post.

You are a newer member, hang in there. Here are some general rules to go by: Post one full coin pic front and one full coin pic of the back. Add one or two close ups where and when needed. If we need more pics we will ask...less is more. Always remove coin from holders when possible. It is always possible with a 2x2. No photos of your microscope screen please.

EDIT: make sure to flatten staples and to properly rotate photos.

@ondi, to address your specific questions, I see DDD on the date, and perhaps a tiny planchet flaw below the mintmark. In at least one of your pics, there is some evidence of a RPM, but you should compare mm location and die markers with the varietyvista page to be sure what you have. Here is a link to get you started:

The reverse is showing Progressive Indirect Design Transfer.

This is seen on well aged dies, on other denominations/designs as well. But these seem to be noticed more on common nickels and cents.

I've noticed that before on coins I've seen Coop. Have never heard it addressed or even knew it had a name. Good info.

JimmyD gives good advice on posting initial images. just at first keep it minimal and if more are required then they will be asked for.
I agree with Spence's assessment of your coin.

If you need a 75X microscope, its prob not worth it. It's the ones you can maybe see with the naked eye that are the money makers. If you have to make a stretch.....prob not the right time

Good to know for the future. I'm not really looking to sell, they were my gramma's. I am just trying to keep her interests alive & finish collecting the dates she didn't.
