Gotta go with the 1794 as well specifically out of the 66 varieties and, 58 collectible varieties of 1794 Large Cents. from 1794 the Sheldon 48 Starred Reverse. But there are a lot of really interesting and neat die varieties that year.

Normally not into the large cents, but seeing that 1794 slabbed may have just upped my interest. Nice cent.

That Sheldon 48 looks much nicer than VF35 from afar.

This photo was from when I was going through the Al Boka 1794 large cent lots at Heritage Auctions in Dallas. Wish I could say it was mine but it brought over $250K, just a bit more than I had to spend on me at the time. It resold in the auction linked above for over $300K!

It was also the discovery piece for the Starred Reverse AKA "The Chapman Discovery Coin."

Have any of you done business with Tom Reynolds out of Omaha? He is a dealer that sets up at a decent sized annual show in Milwaukee. What he has out on his tables always blows me away. He is really nice guy as well. I haven't bought from him as I don't collect large cents really, but I always make it a point to go see his latest offerings each time I go to that show (next one is around April 22nd).
