Most coinage has raised devices/letters. The US Mint has occasionally issued coins with recessed, incuse lettering on the edge or on the obverse/reverse, 1794/1795 large cents, gold $2.5, $5 Indian heads, 2016 proof silver eagle, Presidential dollar series, etc.

I noticed on the 2022 Nina Otero-Warren quarter her name is incuse. Has incuse lettering been done on other quarters?

Is it incuse? It looks more like the field around it is raised, giving it the appearance of being incuse.

Well I don't know how one would describe it technically. The letters are lower than the area around them. Would it depend how the die was made?

Are you sure that is not your Wife saying that, Helder?

John, she came with me to Baltimore and told me to buy a $400 note after my budget was spent. Whatever she appreciates I appreciate !!!

Finally had time to take pictures. I really liked this set, much more than I expected. The coins are very well done. I appreciate a set dedicated to women.
Looks fantastic!

Incuse relative to the field.

Didn't get my set till yesterday from enrollment. I ordered two of the proof sets for 32.00 each because they include the five quarters. A lot less cost effective.

I'm getting greedy and just again ordered two more uncirculated mint sets. This way I have two more five packs of the women's quarter sets.

The US Mint's documentation between the various products that have an Ag quarter in them is inconsistent. Has anyone weighed one these quarters to verify a weight of .199ozt Ag?

Unless the US Mint reduced the weight of the quarter this year, then it should be more than that. The 2021s were 6.343gm x .999 = .204 ozt Ag.

I got my silver set on Friday and the clad set the Friday prior. I wish I did not have to wait until 2024 for Dansco to release the album, assuming they will as soon as they determine who will be on the 2025 coins.
