Day 68Noodled $600 worth of dollar coins. Found some 2021 letter coins but not the one with the BBQ on it. Luckily I found another NCLT coin to maintain the interest. Unfortunately it's not a gold sovereign, just a representation of one on a 2016 aluminium-bronze dollar coin to commemorate Australia's first mint, the Sydney mint which opened in 1855. This coin has a C mint mark. Total number of one dollar coins noodled: 10860 Number of different coins found: 96/128 2019 A-Z coins found: 13/26 2021 A-Z coins found: 25/26 2022 A-Z coins found: 8/26 NCLT coins found: 14 Mule dollars found: 1

I have recovered about a dozen of the current One Dollar Alphabet Great Aussie Coin hunt coins from pocket change in about a fortnight. No noodling.

I just love that dollar. Some of the best designs are NCLT.
Again, its obvious you are just landing a lot of NCLT. It must be obvious many people spent above face value for these coins and got desparate and spent them. One theory I have is that the $1 coin is used in the gaming machines and many addicts broke up that souvenir dollar they brought years ago to get that fix.
3M (Can I call you that), I assume you live in one of the major cities like Melbourne or Sydney?

Quote: you are just landing a lot of NCLT That's the good thing about noodling dollar coins. You find plenty of stuff that isn't meant to be in circulation. Quote: I assume you live in one of the major cities like Melbourne or Sydney? Wash your mouth out I'm a QUEENSLANDER! (Go the Maroons!)

The third largest city. Listing the top three could avoided this controversy.
