Hello I have a 1924 one dollar coin and I can't load pics so if anyone wants to see it email me using the forum email system when I am eligible. Anyway on the front it has what looks to be a spelling error it says IN GOD WE TRVST. isn't it suppose to be trust?

Yes, however, the Peace dollar used the old style (Roman?) letter U which was written as a V (Also why the letter W usuallylooks more like VV then UU).

That would be a Peace dollar issued from 1921-1928 and then again in 1934 and 35, the spelling is correct.

And it should be mentioned that Standing Liberty quarters also have 'trust' spelled 'trvst'

And on the Standing quarter the motto on the reverse is E PLVRIBVS VNVM. Four more V's instead of U's. For some reason no one ever seems to get excited over those. Probably because they are on the reverse.
