Wrekkdd Pillar of the Community Canada 3328 Posts	Posted 06/01/2022 11:45 am I'm not sure about the edit but you can be sure that you will not just find a 1964 SMS coin floating around, as mentioned they are all in private collections and accounted for. The type A reverse is the normal and most common reverse for business strike 1964 quarters. I have long been interested in the 1964 sms coins and have been following this thread from the beginning, I haven't seen anyone "verify" it. Report this Post to the Staff

They messed up on this one: https://www.PCGS.com/cert/39580787 Note the strike definition on the busts. The BS examples are only struck once. The proof and the SMS were struck twice. Thus the definition of strike is strong, with out the glowing fields of a proof quarter. The strike is different. I put in my first post what to look for. you want me to elaborate more? Sorry I do not teach no one. I can tell you sorry, it is not SMS.
