Willburton is absolutely correct. The only thing that changes is the holder. Generally, unless you're in a hurry, Reholders go in at modern tier speed, then the variety attribution fee.

There was a belief that PCGS is harder on the varieties. Folks were submitting once without the variety attribution, then sending back in for reholder with variety.

Another option is to submit the slabbed coin to a third-party variety attribution service. One such service is Variety Slabbing Service. Although they specialize in Morgan and Peace VAMS, they attribute Cherrypicker Guide varieties for most coins.

Here are the best images of the steps I could get. The bottom step is definitely not full, but I believe it does not have to be for PCGS to designate it FS. Only 5 have to be.

My sweet Jesus, that jump in value from 67FS to 68FS, especially considering to top sale realized!
Hope you get a substantial bump on the D/D also if you decide to sell. Consider this, even if you lost a full point in grade and lost the FS designation, you lose $130 in perceived value, less if you check realized sales. But graded the same with the attribute is an exponential increase, not to mention you could lose a full point of grade and still double the value attributed with or without FS, same grade but lose FS would still quadruple your coin value.
Just be 100% sure that the coin you have is the appropriate variety and you're golden :)

Hey all! Just wanted to update you all that it did get attributed! When you look up it's cert it now comes up as the D/D variety in MS67FS!

As some correctly said, you can send it in for a reholder and attribute varieties without risking changing the grade.
Rest in Peace

The more I look at the steps the more I agree with Silviosi , this is not FS.
