I am sure this one is a mint error. Any advice gladly accepted.

Looks like a normal strike for this particular year—and the damage on the reverse renders it basically a face-value (or copper bullion) coin.

to the CCF! The reverse image is from another coin. A 1946 cent would have a Wheat Ear reverse.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

And to the OP, It looks like the reverse of the unknown date Memorial cent looks damaged - flattened out somehow.

Hoping we get the photo issue resolved--wanting to get a better look at what the issue may be.

@norm, often times when something like this happens, it is because you have used the same file name for more than one picture.

Glad you got it sorted out @norm. The flattened date and damaged rims make me think this might be an early stage Dryer Coin.

You might want to calibrate your scales. If it weighs 3 gr, you have a 1 it about 10,000.000.coin. I think that's zinc rot on the obv.
