None are floating and if they were there is little to no added value.

@flash, in each case, it looks like part of the design was polished away, but not the entire part. You could keep one as an exemplar until you find a cent with the roof completely disconnected from the rest of the Lincoln Memorial.

They are all examples of over die polishing. They are just die events. They were all normal dies at one time, then the over polishing altered them.

The "floating Roof" is a cutsie nickname made up by people (like ebay sellers) hoping to get people not knowing any better to pay big money for a common die polishing.

Yes, you can find some that probably sold for a lot of money. But the people spending all that money will never get anything out of the coin if they try to resell it.

Go to varietyvista.com and start looking for what is actually collected by the hobby and can retain value. It will be a lot less painful for you in the long run

Please post only one coin per thread. None of these had floating roofs (if you see any connections it's not floating, and as pointed out, even if they were there's no value in them. Keep searching.

Can I assume there was a Youtube video about a 'floating roof' error?

@ Merclover...do we really need to enforce that rule when it comes to a question like the posters? Do you really want to see three separate posts for 1 commonly asked question?

Greasy,I would encourage the OP to post one coin, learn from that one and apply that knowledge to his/her other similar coins. In dealing with multiples we risk confusion, maybe not here, but with other posts. Rules/policies help to avoid possible mixups. Just my thoughts.
